I had a kidney stone this past week, which put me completely out of commission for about five days. There are no words strong enough to describe how excruciating the pain of a kidney stone is, but I’ve heard from many people that it’s worse than childbirth. It was fun times!
It’s also, sadly, not the first kidney stone I’ve had (although that one was much worse and landed me in urgent care hooked up on morphine. Sweet, sweet morphine.) and here are some photos from June 2009, a few days before I woke up with my kidney feeling like it was going to explode.

Kidney stone – that sounds real painful. I have heard from folks how painful it is…hope you feel better soon.
Nice shot of goose and geeslings. 4th one is cute – I like the way the big one is watchful of its surroundings. I know these could get aggressive if you get closer.
